The unsaturated resin is produced as a polymerization inhibitor and an accelerator for preparing unsaturated resin to cure at room temperature. Used as antifouling agent, bactericide and catalyst. It is a preservative and mold inhibitor for wood and rope. Used as a waterproofing agent for submarine cables
